ALFALFA (The Arecibo Legacy Fast ALFA Survey)
was a survey if HI emission lines from
thirty thousand galaxies and other extragalactic sources,
out to a redshift of 0.06. Survey data was collected 2005-2011
using Arecibo Observatory's ALFA 1.4 GHz detector.
